Correction to 2016 Top Club Award Result

The developments at City of Peterborough Tennis Club are now virtually complete with their 3 outdoor tarmacadam tennis courts relaid and painted. Their new indoor courts are now in play and one of the first events staged indoors was the Hunts & Peterborough Don Brace Cup Final in October.

Important car parking regulations at the club
The club has a large car park, which is free to members, visiting teams and members of the public with court bookings.
Due to the Club's proximity to the local hospital and the resultant demand for local car parking, the Car Park is monitored by an Automated Automatic Number Plate Recognition System. (ANPR). This applies to everyone visiting or using the Sports Club. People with Parking Permits are free to do so, visitors will need to enter their Car Registration Number within 20 Mins of arriving at the Sports Club. Failure to do so will result in a Parking Charge Notice (PCN). The Sports Club does not except responsibility for any PCN's issued to people who fail to observe the car parking regulation.

2016 Annual General Meeting

The 2016 Annual General Meeting took place on Thursday 24th November 2016 at Huntingdon Tennis Club .

21 people attended the meeting representing 13 clubs. There were no proposed changes to the league fees or rules. Nominations for office resulted in all existing committee members retaining their position, with one new committee member, Jason Tuxworth from Ramsey, filling the vacancy on the committee.

The presentation of league trophies was made to divisional winners by Chairperson Kath Marshall.

Don Brace Cup Final 2016

Unfortunately it has just been pointed out that there has been an error in the Top Club Award result posted out to clubs with the AGM paperwork. Regrettably Deeping were accidentally removed from the list of clubs who are eligible for the award. After an excellent season, Deeping have in fact finished equal on points with Stamford and will share this season's Award, both teams finishing with 35 points.

The correction has been made to the Top Club Award result and also my Secretary's Report has been amended to reflect Deeping's success. The revised paperwork is available to download from the Download menu above. Due to the high cost of postage, the corrected paperwork will not be resent to clubs but will be available at the AGM for everyone attending.

Apologies to Deeping for their accidental omission in the original document.
